Feb. 26, 1944 - Feb. 16, 2024 Bridgeport, Ill. - Linda Beth (Herman) Poehler, 79, of Bridgeport, Illinois, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.Linda was born on February 26, 1944 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Paul Wilhelm and Marie (Walsam) Herman. She married Larry David Poehler on July 27, 1963 in Hillsdale, Michigan, and he survives.Linda graduated from Imlay City High School in 1961. Two years later in 1963 she married the love of her life, Larry, and moved to Washington state after Larry was drafted to serve in the US Army. They lived in Washington for 15 years. While in Washington, she held several secretarial and bookkeeping positions. Linda and Larry moved to Illinois in 1978 to be close to Larry's family. In 1987 they welcomed their daughter Sarah after many years of marriage. A beloved wife and mother, the greatest joy of her life was her family.Linda was an avid reader and always enjoyed a good book. If you asked
