Richard M. "Dick" Dallmier, 86, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.Dick was born on January 17, 1938 in Jasper County, IL, to Edwin and Julia (Kerner) Dallmier. He married his high school sweetheart, Glenda (Woods) Dallmier, on February 15, 1958. Together they had three children, Tony, Kevin, and Denise, and enjoyed 51 years of marriage.He graduated from Newton Community High School in 1956, served in the US Army, and continued in the Army Reserves during the early years of his career in the oilfield. Over time, the company's name changed (Lane Wells, Dresser Atlas, Baker Atlas), but one thing did not--his dedicated service. Dick had a distinguished 46 year career with the company before retiring in 2003. He started as a draftsman, earned the designation of petroleum engineer, and worked his way up to Region Manager.
